Cadbury's World at Christmas!

Cadbury’s World is always a much loved trip by our members and volunteers but this time we visited at Christmas – and it was even better!

As it was Christmas, we got an extra treat in the form of a special Cadbury’s Panto. We followed the journey of Buttons and Cinderella in their perilous endeavours to unite with the prince. Everyone loved it!

On the walking tour we stepped through the years and across continents learning about the journey of the cocoa bean all the way from the forest to the Bournville factory and eventually our stomachs! We discovered the social influence of the Cadbury family and tracked their advertising getting to see some famous characters.

During our tour we were allowed to get hands on piping and tempering chocolate. We rode the Cadbury Beanmobile and, of course, at the end of the day we had to visit the largest Cadbury store finding our personal favourites.

If that wasn’t enough we also received some delicious free samples, which we all had an appetite for having been emersed in Cadbury’s decadent chocolate aroma all day...

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another amazing day at Cadbury’s World, we made many more priceless Phab memories. Merry Christmas to all our members, the parents and carers of our members, and our volunteers. We wish you a happy New Year too and we’ll see everyone back in January!
