Circus Workshop & Winter Party

A few weeks ago we had our final trip of 2023! As we arrived, everyone’s festive mood filled the room, looking forward to the day ahead. 

In the morning we took part in a circus masterclass from Splats where we had the chance to learn tricks like plate spinning, juggling and diablos! Everyone got involved and used the final free-play session to show off their new skills. 

After a quick break for lunch, the winter party commenced - each table had a different activity on offer such as face painting, cupcake decorating, musical instruments and Christmas-tree-decoration making. There was also a large area just for dancing and karaoke, giving us performances of all the top Christmas songs. A big congratulations also has to go to Joell for winning the cupcake decoration competition!

To round off an already festive day, we got an unexpected visit from Father Christmas! He was welcomed in and gave out gift bags and cards to our members and volunteers to thank them for being so good this year.
