Conkers! 🌳🦆🚂

Recently, we took an adventurous trip to conkers!

When we arrived the sun was beaming- perfect for the day ahead. We split into our separate groups to take it in turns giving each activity our best shots. First off was the high ropes, for those feeling extra brave was the highest course, complete with a huge zipline to finish. And for those who fancied something a bit closer to the ground, was the option of the middle ropes, with just as much fun as the high ropes but without the zipline. Regardless of which route people chose to try out everyone came together to offer lots of support, and those of us who didn't fancy it cheered on the others from the ground- the team spirit was fantastic!

Later, we had some time to explore the multitude of activity trails that conkers had to offer. From climbing to slides there was something fun for everyone!

Last up is the go karting. We took a relaxing train ride down to the go karts where everyone had their own kart waiting for them to drive around the track. As we trialled different speeds and went up and over hills it felt like being in a video game! We had a great time thanks to our instructor, who helped out and gave us that extra boost to help us up the inclines. We ended the day in high spirits, leaving us just enough time to check out the gift shop and finish up any crafting activities we had started in the base room.

Overall a lovely day was had at Conkers and we can’t wait to see everyone for the final trip of the year!
