Creswell Crags🦣🌳

A couple of weeks ago, Phab had an adventurous day at Creswell Crags.

Once we had arrived, we all set off in our different groups so we could take it in turns to experience all the different activities at the venue- each activity as exciting as the last!

We all loved going into an actual Stone Age cave, where we tried our hand at replicating some of the animal noises that would have been heard at the time and had the opportunity to hold some really cool fossils, stones and bones. The fun didn’t stop there, we also got to explore the museum which had interactive games and some leather Stone Age-style clothes to try on and we got to make art out of natural materials like clay, charcoal, pinecones and sticks. As well as all of this, we got in some target practice and gave tipi making a shot- this is where we learnt why leather and fur were such useful resources during the Stone Age. And for anyone who wasn’t keen on these activities, there was the option to watch Ice Age in the base room.

We had an amazing time taking part in the Stone Age activities at Creswell Crags. As you can see not only was there a lot of adventure, but we also learned a lot too!.

Thank you to everyone who came and made the day so great!
