Pizza Making & Climbing

Last Sunday, we had a fun-filled day in Birmingham trying our hand at making our very own pizzas and giving climbing our best shot!

Once in Birmingham, our first stop was Smoke and Ash where we learnt how the dough is thrown and that it takes just 90 seconds to cook a Neapolitan pizza- so speedy.

After the inspiring demonstration we all god stuck in, making each of our pizzas unique with lots of yummy toppings. Those of us in base room stayed in spirit and personalised our very own chefs hats and decorated paper plates.

Once we had all enjoyed our pizzas, the coach came and picked us up and we headed over to creation climbing centre where the fun didn’t stop!

Those of us who were feeling eager headed straight for the top, while others paced themselves and set their goal for halfway. Everyone did a great job with lots of support from their peers. Meanwhile, for those who didn’t fancy climbing there was loads of fun to be had in our base rooms. From relaxing activities like colouring and crafts to exciting games like catch and skittles, everybody had fun. There was even some music and singing!
