Animal Party Trip!

Our first in-person Phab trip since the pandemic began was a huge success! We loved seeing you all in person again and we were smiling all day.

The day started with a visit from different animals and creepy crawlies! Before we got hands-on, we learnt about the different animals and what makes them unique. We got to see and touch a snake, a bearded dragon, a lizard, a guinea pig, hissing cockroaches, stick insects and more!

Everyone was so brave with the animals and it was great to see people's confidence increasing as the morning went on. We know this kind of activity can be out of some people's comfort zones so to see some of you going from not wanting to be in the room to touching and even holding some of the animals was amazing!

After lunch the party started! We were spoiled with an incredible balloon modeller, Mr Twister, who created the most elaborate balloon models for us from Mario and Luigi, a karate kid, Spiderman, to a horse jumping through a love heart! There were also opportunities for face painting, temporary tattoos, animal pottery painting, biscuit decorating and arts and crafts. We were so impressed with your creations!

This was such a great start back to in-person trips and we hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did! Thank you to everyone who came along to our animal party and fingers crossed we'll see you again soon!
