Go Ape!

The first trip of the academic year got off to a great start at Go Ape! Our phab participants transformed from human to primate, as they swung through the trees, flew down zip wires and even showed off their bravery by tackling the tarzan swing; all at 30ft in the air! After a safety briefing, we were up in the trees of Sherwood forest. Our phab participants did us proud. For some it was an adrenaline filled morning, taking the most extreme routes, for others, a chance to overcome their fears and try something new. Some of us were so good, that it is safe to say a course record was set (or at least a phab record...). When back on the ground, the exitement continued, with arts and crafts, games and stuck in the mud. The scavenger hunt was a particular highlight, and a great oppertunity to get to see the forest. Congratulations to our prize-winners! And to all our wonderful runners up, and to everyone who came on the trip, a MASSIVE thank you! We had such a lovely day and hope you did too.
